Bishop Habila T. Daboh of Zaria Diocese approved school fees scholarship for one academic session for the Post Basic 1 and 2, and WAEC payment for the Post Basic 3 students of St. Malachy Academy Pambegua that won the Provicial debate organised by the Department of Education, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria. This is to encourage hard work, discipline, commitment and determination among students even as the school prepares the students to represent the province at the National Debate come, November, 2026. The director of the school, Revd Fr. Bako Zichiyang Patrick made this known to the students at the assembly ground on Monday 19th October, 2026. He encouraged students to stay open to learning for where there is comitment there is always result.
