St. Malachy Academy, Zaria, joyfully celebrated its 2025 Graduation Ceremony, marking another significant milestone in the history of the institution as graduating students successfully completed an important stage of their academic journey.
The colourful ceremony brought together parents, guardians, clergy, teachers, invited guests, alumni and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the graduating students and acknowledge the school's continued commitment to academic excellence and character formation.
The event commenced with an opening prayer and procession of the graduating students, followed by a warm welcome address from the school administration. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude, excitement and pride as students, staff and families reflected on years of hard work, dedication and perseverance.
In his address, the Director of St. Malachy Academy, Rev. Fr. Bako Zichiyang Patrick, congratulated the graduating students on their achievements and encouraged them to embrace the future with confidence, integrity and determination. He reminded them that education is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about building character, leadership and a spirit of service to humanity.
The Director further expressed appreciation to parents and guardians for their sacrifices, support and trust in the institution. He also commended the teaching and non-teaching staff for their commitment to nurturing students academically, morally and spiritually.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of certificates and awards to deserving students who distinguished themselves in various academic and extracurricular activities. The graduating students, in their farewell message, expressed gratitude to God, their parents, teachers and the entire school community for the guidance and support they received throughout their years at St. Malachy Academy.
