St. Malachy Academy successfully organized a Staff Seminar to officially commence the 2023/2024 Academic Session, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, professional development and quality education.
The seminar, which was organized by the Director of the school, Rev. Fr. Bako Zichiyang Patrick, brought together all members of staff for a day of reflection, learning and strategic planning aimed at strengthening the institution's educational mission.
The keynote lecture was delivered by Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Peter Bauna Tanko, a distinguished scholar, priest and educationist, whose presentation inspired participants to embrace innovation, professionalism and dedication in their service to education.
Speaking during the seminar, Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Peter Bauna Tanko emphasized the critical role of teachers as mentors, role models and nation-builders. He encouraged staff members to uphold the highest standards of integrity, discipline and excellence while adapting to the evolving demands of modern education.
He further challenged educators to remain committed to continuous learning, effective teaching methodologies and character formation, noting that quality education goes beyond academic instruction to include the moral, spiritual and social development of every child.
In his remarks, the Director, Rev. Fr.
